Update 03.05.2026

https://github.com/BluePilotDev/bluepilot/issues

The 6.0 beta has been synced up with sunnypilot master as of 03.04.2026. Since this included some major updates to submodules, we have decided not to push it into bp-6.0-beta, because it could cause a failed upgrade. To move over the new beta, please uninstall and use the following URL:

BluePilot 6.0 has now entered the open beta phase of testing. The branch is compatible with the Comma3X and the Comma4. It can be installed using the following URL (case sensitive):

Whats New?

When comma introduced the Comma4, the entire user interface for both the Comma4 and the Comma3x was converted to a whole new programming language. BluePilot 6.0 is primarly a port of BluePilot 5.0, re-written in the new language, with support added for the Comma4 device. Below are some key new features:

  • Comma4 inspired animations for the Comma3x including confidence ball and steering meter
  • Connection to sunnylink dashboard for updating device settings via the internet
  • BluePilot animations for the Comma4. Space is limited but we managed to get brake status, blind spot warnings, lead vehicle information, and hybrid data flow onto the screen.
  • Modified longitudinal controls when using openpilot long. This is an attempt to create a feel more like CANFD ACC from Ford, with more coasting and a less binary feel.
